BROOKLYN, NY – Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Brooklyn home was reportedly raided by the FBI on Friday (September 28). According to TMZ, the rainbow-haired rapper wasn’t home at the time of the search and has been away for several weeks. Federal agents found a gun at the scene but it’s unknown who the gun belongs to or why the raid was executed in the first place. MARIETTA, GA – Birdman and Young Thug are reportedly under investigation for the 2015 Lil Wayne tour bus shooting. According to TMZ, the Cobb County D.A. is trying to determine if the Cash Money Records CEO was the mastermind behind the incident. The shooting took place in Atlanta after Wayne finished a show at the Compound nightclub. No one was injured but the shooter — PeeWee Roscoe — was arrested and tried in court. After pleading guilty, he was given a 10-year sentence but appealed the conviction.  Subsequently, Roscoe’s conviction was overturned in July. Back in 2015, Roscoe maintained Birdman should be held liable.  “[Birdman’s] financial dispute with [Lil Wayne] is what ultimately led to the shooting,” Winfrey said court documents. “[Birdman] should be held liable as a party to the crime.” Birdman and Wayne have had a contentious relationship over the years, which is what allegedly led to the shooting. Kevin Gates has finally released his Luca Brasi 3 Mixtape, his first mixtape since being released from prison in January. The project comes out laced with 14 tracks. Gates released a 3-song EP, Chained to the City, in May, and announced a Luca Brasi 3 Tour last month–his first performances since getting out of prison. MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA – Bill Cosbywalked into a Pennsylvania court room on Tuesday (September 25) and was sentenced to three to 10 years for the sexual assault of Andrea Constand. According to TMZ, the disgraced comedic actor was deemed a “sexually violent predator” by a judge prior to the hearing. “I’m not permitted to treat him any differently based on who he is or who he was,” the judge said. “As she [Constand] said, Mr. Cosby, you took her beautiful, healthy young spirit and crushed it.” Constand accused Cosby of raping her in 2004 when she was working with Cosby at Temple University’s athletic department. Lil Wayne  finally announced the release date for his nearly mythical album,  Tha Carter V.   After years of being held up in red tape, the project will arrive on September 27, which also happens to be Weezy’s birthday. Wayne confirmed the news in a video he posted to his social media accounts on Tuesday (September 25). He began by  addressing the confusion  over the release date. Many people thought the project was arriving on September 21. “I heard there was a misunderstanding about the release date of the C5,” he says in the clip. “I heard y’all got mixed up and thought it was gonna get release like last week or something. “Well, I would like for you to know that since y’all stuck with me and hung in there anyway for like the past four or five years through all of this but uh on my birthday, I actually have something special. A scandal is brewing within the household of President Muhammadu Buhari. His wife, Aisha, has caused the arrest of her own Aide De Camp, after accusing him of defrauding her, those familiar with the matter have told PREMIUM TIMES. The president’s wife is alleging that Sani Baba-Inna, a chief superintendent of police, received huge donations from politicians and business people on her behalf and then kept the cash to himself. Mrs Buhari therefore requested the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to arrest and compel Mr. Baba-Inna to refund the money, put at over N2.5billion. The police officer was arrested Friday and has remained in detention ever since, with relatives having no access to him, family members say. It is unclear how the president’s wife came about the allegation, but one source said another aide working for Mrs Buhari originated the claim.
