Last month, Canadian rap superstar Drake announced
that he would be releasing his Please Forgive Me short
film on September 30th, but didn’t offer many
additional details. Today, the OVO Sound ringleader
revealed that Please Forgive Me was coming slightly
ahead of schedule, and now you can watch the movie
in its entirety.
The VIEWS-inspired visuals feature new music from
Drake’s right-hand man Noah “40” Shebib and were
directed by Anthony Mandler , who frequently
collaborates with Rihanna .
He’s also worked with some of rap’s greatest artists
like Snoop Dogg , 50 Cent, Common, Jay Z, and more,
as well as with Drake on “Over,” “Find Your Love,”
and “Miss Me.”
The videos for “One Dance” and “Childs Play” were
originally both expected to appear within the film,
but Drizzy released a Tyra Banks-assisted clip for
the latter at the top of the month.
Just days ago, Drizzy partnered with Apple to bring
OVO Sound merchandise to fans directly though the
app store and now he teams up with them once again
with the exclusive release of Please Forgive Me
.
The visual project comes after the success of Drake’s
first short film, Jungle, which he dropped last year
to help build anticipation for If You’re Reading This
It’s Too Late. Please Forgive Me will surely boost the
sales of Aubrey Graham’s latest LP, which spent 12
weeks at number one before being bested by DJ
Khaled’s first chart- topping album Major Key.

below and grab a copy of VIEWS on iTunes if you are
one of the lonely souls who hasn’t done so already.
