Jeezy's "Trap or Die" goes #1.
Last year, Jeezy's Church in the Streets sold 107,000 copies its first week and debut at #4 on the charts. Fast-forward a year later -- Jeezy's new album Trap or Die 3 sold 89,000 copies its first week and has debuted at #1.
Trap or Die 3 beat out Kenny Chesney's Cosmic Hallelujah by less than a thousand units and marks Jeezy's third #1 album, following The Recession and The Inspiration.
Meek Mill's DC4 far exceeded initial sales projections and narrowly missed a second consecutive #1 project for Meek. It debuted at #3, with 87,000 units sold, including an incredible 37,000 that came from streaming equivalent album units.
