Abimbola Joseph Olupaiye Responds to Defamatory Reports of Fraud.
AllegationsAbimbola Joseph, renowned Dubai realtor and former employee of Tigers Properties LLC Dubai, has come out to express shock and disbelief at recent publications by Sahara Reporters, Instablog 9ja, Society Reporters and other blogs alleging that he has been indicted for obtaining money by fraudulent misrepresentation in Dubai and Nigeria.
The said reports, which circulated widely on social media and various online platforms, alleging that hed been prosecuted for obtaining N140 million, 467,000 Dirhams and $300,200 fraudulently in property investment deals.
These allegations are not only malicious but defamatory, and he has vehemently denied any involvement in such acts.It is pertinent to note that Abimbola Joseph has never been served by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), nor any other anti-graft agency, in Nigeria or anywhere in the world.
The allegations published are not only baseless but also have no empirical evidence to back them up. These allegations was purported to cause significant damage to the good reputation he has built over the years.
He is therefore demanding an immediate retraction of these allegations and a public apology from Sahara Reporters, Instablog 9ja, Society Reporters, and all other blogs involved in the publication of the fake news. He also insists that the retraction must be done within 48 hours of this press statement's release.
Legal actions will follow if retraction isn't made within the given timeline.According to him this has the tendency to damage his well built reputation which has been severely damaged as a result of these misleading reports widely circulated via many media avenues.
As a consequence, we request the public also to exercise due diligence and verify facts before making unsubstantiated and inflammatory claims that can subsequently damage and alter the course of a person’s or organization’s future adversely.
