Nigerian Dancer "Bendancer" Sets To Attempts Longest Dance Marathon "168 Hours Guinness World Records" 

Benjamin Daniel, professionally known as Bendancer, is a highly celebrated Nigerian professional dancer, choreographer, fitness instructor, and model. He has broken long-standing gender barriers in the Nigerian music scene by becoming the first male dancer in the iconic Fela Kuti Afrobeat dynasty, performing prominently alongside Made Kuti and The Movement band at the New Afrika Shrine. 

The Kuti Family Collaboration: Performing as a core dance artist with Made Kuti and The Movement, Bendancer has broken gender barriers at the New Afrika Shrine and toured globally, featuring in major exhibitions such as the Fela Exposition at the Philharmonie de Paris.

Guinness World Record Attempt: He has announced an official attempt for the Guinness World Record for the longest dance marathon by an individual. The 168-hour dance marathon is scheduled to take place from September 21st to 27th, 2026, at Freedom Park in Lagos, Nigeria.
Bendancer Academy International: As the founder and CEO of his own international academy, he trains younger generations, advocating for a community of dancers free from drugs and addiction.

Philosophy: He views dance as a spiritual exercise and an advocacy tool for cultural preservation and activism. He frequently speaks on how dance served as an organizational tool in Fela Kuti's Afrobeat protests.

Commercial and Stage Profiles: He has performed at high-profile events like the Big Brother Naija Grand Finale and Global Citizen Live, and has worked with prominent musical artists including M.I Abaga, Ice Prince, and B.O.C Madaki.
