Son Of Grace, Amb. David Obama Onyekachi Geoman Shines At Graduation, Visits Newborn Babies

Ambassador David Obama Onyekachi Christopher Geoman, popularly known as “The Son of Grace,” commenced his first humanitarian outreach under his NGO, Son of Grace Charity and Humanitarian Initiative, shortly after his graduation on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

His first stop was St. Gerald’s Catholic Hospital, Kaduna, an institution with deep personal significance to the young ambassador, as he, his sisters, father and uncles were born at the hospital.

During the visit, Ambassador David went to the maternity ward, where he presented diapers, sanitary pads and other essential baby items to newborn babies and their mothers.

The visit was particularly emotional for Geoman, who was born by Caesarean section at the same hospital 16 years ago. Returning to the facility years later, this time as a young humanitarian giving back to other families, added special significance to the occasion.

The hospital management, while receiving the S.O.G. Award of Excellence, expressed appreciation for Geoman’s generosity and for remembering the institution where he was born. The management also commended his humanitarian spirit and encouraged him to continue his service to humanity.

Speaking on behalf of the team, the Director of Operations, Gladys Theck, and the BOT Chairman, High Chief Amb. Christopher Columbus Onukwugha Geoman, thanked the hospital management for receiving them and providing the opportunity for the initiative to extend its support to newborn babies and their mothers.

They expressed hope that the relationship between Team S.O.G. and the hospital would continue to grow and endure for years to come.

Earlier that same day, during his graduation ceremony at Demonstration Secondary School, Kaduna, Ambassador David was recognised as the Most Talented Student to graduate from the school. He was also crowned the first Prom King in the history of the institution.

From academic achievement to humanitarian service, the young ambassador is already beginning a new chapter marked by recognition, compassion and a commitment to giving back to society.
